The historical-genealogical society Nostre Origini (Our Origins) was instituted on the initiative of a group of Piedmontese local historicians keen on genealogy and transcribers of data bases of populations archives for promote studies and researches on Italian area and abroad that favour the rediscovery of one's origins.
The association engages itself in promoting and spreading of data-base transcribing methods aiming to become point of reference for all transcribers in Italy in order to fill up the gap that separate us from genealogical researches carried out abroad that have the France as the best example.
The activity of the association extend to local history with particular attention to external emigration histories of Piedmonteses.
